A Letter from Dr. Korab, May 16, 2018

Dear Burnley-Moran Families:

I am thrilled to be joining Burnley-Moran Elementary as your new principal. This school holds a special place in my heart; my children have attended Burnley-Moran for the last four years. Now, as I become part of this Family-Student-Staff team, I am eager to work with everyone to provide the best education possible for your child.

I met with the staff last Friday and shared my core belief as an educator. That is: relationships have to be built on a solid foundation and nurtured over time. I look forward to building relationships with you and your children.

While I officially begin my new role on July 1, I will use the coming weeks as a period of transition. It is important to me to learn about Burnley-Moran and its community. I value my relationship as a parent at Burnley-Moran and I look forward to building relationships with you and your children as I transition to administration. A “Meet and Greet” event is being planned as well as a playground popsicle social. Please stay tuned as the PTO and I set those dates. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to me. I have included my email below.

One time-sensitive matter: as the year winds down, teachers will begin the complex and important process of making class rosters for 2018-19. On the backside of this letter is the process for submitting input for your child’s 2018-19 placement.

The opportunity to lead, develop, and learn from the Burnley-Moran community truly excites me. I look forward to getting to know you and your children!

Looking forward to an incredible start!
