Math in the iSTEM and Engineering Program

One of the goals of our iSTEM and Engineering programs is to reduce barriers to entry and to make the field accessible to would-be STEM students. Our iSTEM activities emphasize hands-on application that help students make the connection between math concepts and the task at hand.  We have encountered high school students teaching themselves college-level math so that they can complete a project they have begun!

In the spirit of reducing barriers, there is no math prerequisite for our entry-level engineering classes.
