Summer Learning Opportunities for Students in Charlottesville City Schools Summer is an important time for both rest and learning. Our schools and community offer a wide array of opportunities for camps, classes, internships, and more.  There are three main ways to connect your child with activities that meet their needs:

  1. Visit our listing of programs offered by the schools, the City, or our program partners. These offerings for students of all ages are either free, accessible, or offer scholarships. Let us know in the comments if we have missed others!
  2. If your child needs to recover a credit or would benefit from summer learning, we offer in-person classes. Your school will be in touch. 
  3. If your CHS (or rising CHS student) is interested in taking a summer online course in health, PE, or economics/personal finance, learn more and register here.
