CHS & Buford Lead in All-District Band Selections; 9 CHS Students Earn All-State Auditions

All-District Band is made up of 2 bands, the Symphonic Band and the Concert Band, with close to 85 students in each band. Students that place high enough in the Symphonic Band are invited to audition for one of the All-State Ensembles in February. Charlottesville High School had 40 students earn a spot in one of the bands, which is more than any other school in the district and 9 of those students earned an All-State audition. Make sure to congratulate these students if you see them.
