Each fall, each returning student must be re-registered to update telephone numbers, give annual permissions, and submit any transportation requests. (If your student is new or started after April 2023, you do not need to re-register.)

This year, re-registration is through a new system, School Mint. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Get your Student’s ID in one of the following ways:
    • Check your email for a message sent June 28 with the subject line “Re-register your student(s) for the 2023-24 school year”
    • Log into PowerSchool
    • Or call your school
  2. Go to
  3. Follow these instructions for getting started. (Instructions in Spanish).
    • Problem with entering your address? For question #2, please use the blue teardrop to auto-complete the address.

If you need any help re-registering, please call your school.

The national bus driver shortage continues, and we are maintaining the expanded walk zones we established last year. For students who are eligible for the bus, families can request bus service by re-registering students. All families should make a plan to get their child to and from school in case they are not eligible for the bus or in case they are wait-listed for the bus. Families will be notified about whether their student was assigned to a bus or waitlist in mid-August.. Find more information about transportation and how we’re supporting students in our expanded walk zones here.

New Communication Tool, ParentSquare

ParentSquare Logo

This fall, we’ll be using a new program, ParentSquare, for all our school-related communications. Looking for a message or reminder from your teacher, principal, or the school division? Check ParentSquare. Need to send a message to your teacher or another employee? Use the ParentSquare messaging feature.

The ParentSquare app or website provides an easy way to scroll through all your school-related messages, keeping important information in one place (and in 100+ languages). ParentSquare will work without the app, but the app (or the web login) provides the best experience. Go to to learn more and find links to download the free app.

Calendar image

The easiest way to keep up with school holidays is to subscribe to our Google “Academic Calendar.” You can also subscribe to each school’s official calendar for school events. Click here to learn more.
