How and When Will I Get Results?

  • Results will usually come back within 24 hours and are reported directly to the Virginia Department of Health and Charlottesville City Schools. Anyone who tests positive will be notified by phone call. After any positive cases are notified, we will send an email communicating negative test results to anyone who registered via this website by Friday (early afternoon) the week before testing. (Anyone who registered just prior to the testing event or who registered on-site should know that “no news is good news.”)

What if I Need Proof of My Negative Test?

  • If you need proof of your negative test, please call 245-2400
