For attendance at a public school in Virginia, parents must submit proof of age-appropriate immunizations with the prescribed number of doses of vaccine indicated below.  Religious and medical exceptions are permitted, but documentation must be provided to the school.

Students whose records do not contain evidence of completed health requirements will be notified that these requirements must be completed within 30 days. If records of immunizations are unavailable at the time of registration, parents must take action to obtain records or begin the process of immunization again.
