At their January 2023 meeting, the School Board voted to approve the 2023-24 academic calendar, which is quite similar to previous years’ calendars.

Earlier in the fall, the division’s calendar committee floated a more innovative calendar, including the idea of starting a week earlier and having a week off at Thanksgiving. While feedback on these elements was varied, there was clear interest in exploring changes in the calendar, as well as a clear need to have a lengthy heads up if significant changes to the calendar were going to be implemented.

Therefore, our calendar committee will resume work this spring to gather feedback about options for the 2024-25 school year. Stay tuned!
