2025-26 Registration forms open for Kindergarten, New, and NON-RESIDENT Students!

It’s time to register new and/or non-resident students for next year!

Registration forms are now open in SchoolMint. Navigate to: https://ccs.schoolmint.com/login

Updated information about who should complete these forms:

Next year’s kindergartners (both new students and returning students who are currently in our 4-year-old preK classes) – complete the 25-26 NEW STUDENT FORM
New students who will begin Cville Schools in August (grades 1-12) – complete the 25-26 NEW STUDENT FORM
Non-resident students (new and returning students who live outside the City of Charlottesville). Complete the new or returning 25-26 NON-RESIDENT APPLICATION. Returning non-resident students should complete these forms by May 7.

What do I need to complete the forms?

When is Kindergarten Registration Day?

Kindergarten Registration Day is Thursday, April 24, 9am-3pm at your neighborhood elementary. Bring your future kindergartener to register for Fall ’25, and do a quick child screening. Click here for more information and appointment sign-ups.

What if I want to send my child to a different elementary school because of the proposed rezoning plan?

Register your new student at the school for which they are currently zoned. The Board will vote on May 1, and afterwards, we will open the form for applying to attend your child’s future zoned school.
