Elementary Attendance Zones Changing: Community Input Wanted
To avoid overcrowding at some schools and underutilization of others, Charlottesville City Schools is reevaluating its elementary attendance zones (current boundaries are shown in map, left).
We want your input! The public is invited to attend an upcoming community meeting to:
Learn about the rezoning process for our division
Give feedback on an initial set of DRAFT CHANGES to our zones. (These draft changes will be posted on the rezoning project website).
UPCOMING MEETINGS:
Meetings are drop-in and open to the public. Interpretation is available.
Tuesday, October 29: Jackson-Via Elementary, 4-6pm
Wednesday, October 30: Summit Elementary, 5-7pm
Wednesday, November 6 (Zoom): 12-1:30pm (register here) and 6-7:30pm (register here)
